A semi-detached house in the center of Genoa, with a large garden.
The house dates back to the early 1900s, long neglected and abandoned, and has been given new life to create two homes.
Here, I present the one created with the artist owner, who, with his family, wanted it as a home.
Some key features have been retained, such as the column at the entrance and the mosaic and terrazzo floors.
All the doors and windows have been restored and refurbished.
The project aimed to create a strong connection with the outside, almost as if the garden were part of the interior decoration.
Skylights were installed to bring light into some rooms.
Renovation is still underway in some areas, and the clutter is comforting and welcoming!
